OBITUARY: RHINELAND" Austin Lee Van Booven (Dec. 31, 1991 to Feb. 12, 2013)

Austin Lee Van Booven, 21, of Rhineland, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in rural Franklin County, about four miles west of New Haven, Missouri.

Austin was born in Hermann, Missouri on December 31, 1991, the son of David Lee and Brenda Jean (Bader) Van Booven of Rhineland, Missouri.

Austin was a member of the National Wildlife Turkey Federation. He enjoyed life, enjoyed playing sports in school, he loved to help on the family farm, hunting and fishing and spending time with his friends.

He worked at Wortman Erectors in Montgomery City. He also worked for Dr. Robert Lund as a farm hand, at Heberle Packing Company, Trailside Bar & Grill in Rhineland and helped on the family farm. He also helped local schools as a referee for basketball games.

Austin is survived by his parents David & Brenda Van Booven of Rhineland, a brother Cole Van Booven of Hermann, his girlfriend Taylor Goad of New Haven, his grandmothers Ruth Bader of Big Spring and Bertha "Mutz" Van Booven of Rhineland, uncle Robert Van Booven of Rhineland, uncle & aunt Joe Van Booven & wife Anita of Rhineland, uncle & aunt John Van Booven & wife Linda of Hermann, three aunts Theresa Torgenson & husband Trig of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Irene Lewis & husband Bill of Big Spring and Beverly Bader of Big Spring, uncles Alfred Bader & wife Brenda of Big Spring, Bill Bader & wife Susanne of Rhineland and Marvin Joe Bader & wife Katherine of Rhineland and by many cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 14th from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 15th at 10:00 a.m. from Church of the Risen Savior, Rhineland, Missouri, with Father Bill Debo officiating.

Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Rhineland.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Austin Van Booven Scholarship Fund. C/O Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home.
