Maries County Sheriffs deputy makes drug bust at Spring Creek

On January 28, 2012 members of the Maries County Sheriff’s Office conducted a check out at Spring Creek Gap Conservation Area. During the course of the check Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Comstock arrested Kevin Patrick age 44 of Rolla for possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of controlled substance. Patrick was transported to the Maries County Jail and later posted a $25,000.00 bond for his charges.
The Sheriff’s Office has been investigating Spring Creek because of reports of suspected drug use taking place around this area. This is something that will not be tolerated. Conservation areas are made for public and family use.
