Car accident on Hwy. 100 West, just west of Gasconade, Mo.

A sedan went off the road and temporarily entrapped the driver this morning on Hwy. 100 West, about a mile west of the City of Gascoande, Mo.

Injuries were minor, mostly to the driver's hand, according to a deputy who worked the scene.

The accident was worked by Morrison volunteer firefighters, Hermann EMS, and the Gasconade County Sheriff's Department.  The Hermann Volunteer Fire Department was called on mutual aid to help with a possible extrication.  When Hermann Fire arrived on the scene, the driver was already extricated from the car and was sitting on a nearby front porch, according to Hermann Fire Chief Dave Schulte.
